Problem:

City Utilities had a catastrophic fan failure of a competitor’s 87″ diameter gas recirculation fan. The project involved removing and reinstalling the fan rotor and casing, repairing the drive motor and turning gear foundations.

Solution:

Robinson Industries manufactured, furnished all new equipment, and provided total turnkey installation for this project. Included were all repairs to the concrete foundations, installing the turning gear on the outboard end of fan, complete insulation and lagging to the casing, all electrical hook-up and monitoring all vibration points upon start-up of the unit.

Result:

With Robinson’s capabilities and many years of experience in developing, building and installing new fans and equipment, this project was 100% complete and in full operation as planned and scheduled.
